The AC Martin Internship Program aims to enrich the education of architecture students through year-round internship opportunities. We actively engage in community outreach and recruitment events to boost the firm's visibility among students and young professionals. AC Martin's extensive experience in architecture, interiors, and planning creates collaborative opportunities for specialized design and technical expertise. 

AC Martin is pleased to announce we are currently accepting applications for our internship program. We are seeking students pursuing a degree in architecture or interior design with a passion for architecture, willingness to learn, ability to collaborate in a dynamic studio environment, and creative problem solving skills. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN… 

Career Skills 

  • Students will gain insight and exposure to the AEC industry and relevant skills for their career path.
  • Interns are embedded in real projects, experiencing real-world application of their skills.
  • Experiencing multiple phases of the project, inclusive of a Construction tour.

Mentorship 

  • Interns work and learn under frequent supervision of a full-time professional AC Martin employee and will be assigned a mentor to ensure the goals of the internship are met. 

AXP / ARE 

  • Accrue AXP hours, gaining experience in basic areas of practice.
  • Access to ARE study materials.

ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT? 

AEC Program Enrollment 

  • Must currently be enrolled in an Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry program and/or enrolled in an AEC major. 

Knowledge and familiarity of the following is desirable: 

  • Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Lumion, AutoCAD, Enscape, and other BIM Software. 
  • Familiarity with architectural phases. 
  • Familiarity with building materials, codes, and construction methods. 

Education + Work Experience: 

  • 3+ years related education experience.

Communication 

  • Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills. 

Commitment 

  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 6 weeks for an internship.
