The Turner + AC Martin Design-Build team celebrated the Grand Opening of Placer County Health and Human Services Center in February. The 142,000 square foot center is the first Zero Net Energy building in Placer County. The new facility creates a welcoming environment for citizens of Placer County to receive crucial services, and unites 800 County employees from six divisions including Human Services, Public Health, Adult System of Care, Children's System of Care, Environmental Health, and Administration.
“Our collaborative design-build team with Turner Construction, driven by a shared commitment to sustainability, has created not only a building to serve the community but also the first Zero-Net-Energy building in Placer County. We are thrilled to extend our design reach into Northern California to enhance the region's health and human services infrastructure. This project emphasizes AC Martin’s dedication to innovation, collaboration, and the highest standards of environmental stewardship.”
